The answer to my first question (how to get VS to NOT load the Dev Fabric is to make sure the Cloud Service project is not set as the startup project. In case anyone is having the same issue.

I second that request. I have a Sharp Architecture project (using enterprise templates) they I'm trying to adapt to Azure per your article (which has been a great help). However, it is not clear to me how to prevent VS from loading up the Dev Fabric when I run the app AND, more importantly, I am now getting this error when I run: <%@ Page Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Views/Shared/Site.Master" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage" %>

Some source code would really help flesh this out.

Thanks in any case!

This is very cool. I think this approach to Azure programming makes sense.

For those of us who have yet to dive in but want to play around, would you be able to throw the very basics into a project and share it? No worries if not, we can always build it up based off of the blog, but it never hurts to ask!

Thanks for a great series of articles (especially on WCHM).
